Information for Local Authorities & service providers:
Following a successful pilot project in 2010, BRIE is now able to provide data to Local Authorities and other organisations across Essex via service level agreements. If you are interested in signing a service level agreement for data provision please contact us for more information.
Guidance for Local Authorities on accessing biodiversity information has recently been published by Natural England. For more information please click here
Information for Consultants:
We are currently unable to provide a data search service to consultants, but we are planning to develop this service in the near future. In the meantime, please visit our Products and Services page for details of data providers in Essex.
If you are a consultant and would like to be kept informed of the progress of the developing records centre, or if you have data that you are able to share with BRIE please contact us.
The IEEM code of professional conduct states that consultants should make data they collect available to others where possible. If you have data that you are able to share, please contact us for help with data collation, or send us records using the form below.
Not-for-profit organisations:
Non-commercial organisations are encouraged to sign a Data Exchange Agreement with BRIE and supply their data to us free of charge in exchange for any data they receive. For more information please contact us.
Send us your records!
Template recording forms for sending in data are also available to download - please click here for a copy.
